This September I will be offering a Pilates Workshop for Runners.
It will focus on the exercises which are ideal for runners, to improve your mechanics and core strength, to reduce the risk of injury. Pilates is a dynamic system of exercise. It stretches, tones and strengthens. Pilates is famous for strengthening your core.
Your core incorporates the abdominal muscles, obliques, lower back muscles and glutes. In strengthening these with Pilates you become more balanced and thus have a healthier, stronger, supported spine, which improves your posture and your running.
